"PACS - now what?  I want to quickly and securely deliver the benefits of PACS to all clinicians throughout the hospital and at all outside locations."

"I've got a legacy PACS/RIS - but our staff and referring clinicians need secure access to the reports with images on their desktop, or wherever they are, through a standard Web Browser - how do I Web-enable the images/reports, deliver these throughout the hospital and off-site locations and integrate them seamlessly into my existing healthcare information system? I don’t want the expense and headache of point-to-point connections, either.”

Solution for existing PACS/RIS

Install OpenMed Technologies' Clinical Intranet Web Server. This pre-configured system is a complete software package that handles images from DICOM compliant modalities and PACS/RIS, creates a unique Patient Folder, containing the images and reports stored for that specific patient and distributes the images with reports via a Web Viewer with complete image manipulation capabilities.

These are accessed and viewed by the appropriately authorized staff in the hospital and securely across the Internet. HIPPA- Compliant security is maintained, not only within the hospitals IT strategy and infrastructure, but also by the use of the OpenMed built-in user name, password and log report security features.

This virtually "plug & play" solution set allows a facility to quickly install a Web-view to your existing PACS, on a choice of hardware. The connection to the PACS is accomplished through an OpenMed Technologies DICOM communication. We are talking weeks, not months!
